Our Pre-school classes are designed by our award winning principal, with the learning cycle and needs of early years in mind.

 

Engaging the children in 'play' whilst learning to dance, follow instruction, greatly aids the physical, emotional, social and cognitive development of the children, building motor skills and enhancing confidence.

 

There are a lot of sensory props used within the learning environment and use of colour, number recognition, patterning and spacial awareness. Sharing and working together all play a part in the class structure too.

Our classes are 1 and half hours, beginning with dance where you, the parent/carer, interacts with your little one, creating not only a support for them whilst learning but also moments of memory making and focused bonding time that will be cherished by both. We all know too well that they grow up so fast!

​

The class then has an intermission with unlimited refreshments for all and is followed by stay and play, where parents get to sit and enjoy their own social time with other parents/carer of similar aged children, whilst the little ones work around our soft play set up; assisting them to greater development in the skills outlined above and promoting independent learning and play.

 

The class concludes with a 'mini disco' complete with disco lights, music, party dances and of course bubbles, lots and lots of bubbles.
